Former Commissioner Announces Resignation, Reflects on Seven Years of Service

In a formal announcement, I have tendered my resignation as Honourable Commissioner for Works and Energy Development, Adamawa State, effective immediately. It has been an honour to serve in this strategic role for the past seven years, contributing to the state's infrastructural and energy development.

I expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the trust and opportunity to serve, citing his leadership and support as instrumental to my tenure's successes. "I am profoundly grateful to His Excellency for the trust, confidence, and rare opportunity granted to me to contribute meaningfully to the infrastructural and energy advancement of our dear state," I stated.

I also acknowledged the guidance and blessings of my parents, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar and Hajiya Titi Atiku Abubakar, whose moral support strengthened me throughout my journey. The dedication and professionalism of the Ministry's staff were also recognized, with appreciation for their commitment to advancing critical infrastructure.

The people of Jada were thanked for their unwavering support and prayers, which were a constant source of motivation. "Your faith and solidarity have meant more than words can express," I said.

This resignation marks a new phase of broader developmental engagement and continued contribution to Adamawa State's growth and progress. "I remain steadful in my loyalty to the shared vision of a stronger and more prosperous Adamawa," I affirmed.
